Compass Immunology are the industry leaders in allergy treatment for adults and children alike.  However the journey to recovery for a child can be fraught with fear and anxiety, with countless visits to hospitals and clinics.  Our clients wanted to change this journey for children into something of kindness, comfort and adventure, finding safe ways to connect these kids back to nature and the delights of food.

A traditional corner store with heritage protection in the quaint suburb of Grange was found for the home of this wonderful concept clinic.  With much care and attention this old building was lovingly restored and carefully re-designed to become a nurturing and fun space for children and their parents.

This clinic is complete with 4 treatment rooms, a commercial grade kitchen for allergy cooking workshops and an outdoor garden and play area.  All areas have been embellished with elements from nature and native wildlife from the wider Brisbane area.  The very talented local artist Katherine Castle kindly allowed us to turn her beautiful paintings into stunning wall graphics used throughout the clinic.

Due to the sensitivity of these patients we selected non toxic materials such as oak flooring from Mafi with an eco oil finish, water based adhesives and grouts and low VOC paints throughout.  The result is a healthy space to heal and nurture children of all ages.
